Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This policy describes how PrizmForge LLC handles information when you use PrizmTerra for field mapping, sampling plans, and project collaboration.
1. Information handled by the service
PrizmTerra handles account information such as your email and profile details; company names and branding; project membership; uploaded boundary files and field attributes; sampling zones, coordinates, and location notes; and activity records for actions within projects.
The service also stores subscription status and plan information received from the PrizmForge Customer Portal. Technical information, such as requests and error information, may be processed by the hosting and authentication services used to operate PrizmTerra.
2. How information is used
Information is used to sign you in, control project access, display maps, generate and save sampling plans, support collaboration, apply company branding, maintain activity records, and enforce subscription access and seat limits.
3. Project sharing and administration
Authorized project members can view the project's shared data. Agronomists and organization owners have additional controls for managing projects and branding. Platform administrators can access account, organization, subscription, and field-count information for administration.
If you use PrizmTerra through another organization, that organization determines your access and may manage information you contribute. Contact the organization about its own handling of your information.
4. Service providers and external maps
Hosting, authentication, and storage providers process information needed to deliver the service. Subscription status is exchanged with the PrizmForge Customer Portal. If you choose a third-party sign-in provider, that provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.
Maps use external map services, including OpenFreeMap. Loading maps sends technical requests and the requested map area to those services. When you request USDA soil-survey zones, the relevant field area is sent to the public USDA Soil Data Access service.
5. Browser storage
PrizmTerra uses browser storage to maintain sign-in sessions and related service state. Clearing that storage can sign you out. Third-party providers may use their own storage or cookies according to their policies.
6. Security and retention
Project access controls and private file storage are used to restrict access to authorized users. No online service can guarantee absolute security; protect your credentials and invite only authorized collaborators.
A lapsed subscription does not automatically delete your project data; it remains visible in read-only mode. Retention or deletion requests are reviewed in light of organization ownership, operational needs, and applicable legal obligations.
7. Your choices and requests
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting PrizmForge LLC. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the organization that manages your projects. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location.
8. Policy updates
This policy may change as PrizmTerra evolves. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
